Endoscopy

 

The scope enables the veterinarian to see inside of your pet.  It looks like a long, skinny, flexible black hose and can be inserted through the mouth or the rectum.  At Cooley Animal Clinic, we routinely use our scope to remove objects that have been swallowed and are trapped in the stomach.  The scope is also used to take biopsies of the stomach, small intestine, and large intestine.
